For applications that demand complex movement in space such as multiple repositioning of parts for inspection purposes, or where accessibility from the top is limited, Wes-Tech uses articulating robots from proven manufacturers as an integral part of the automated solution.

Integration encompasses the addition of proper grippers for the task at hand, parts magazine, ancillary stations, safety features and software programming to deliver a complete system. To reduce the part changing time to a minimum, Wes-Tech uses dual grippers one for the raw and one for the finished part. Grippers can be changed manually or automatically. Several other accessory parts are available to accommodate part size, pushing action, etc.
In applications where the advantages of gantry robots and articulating robots are synergistic Wes-Tech combines the two as part of a fully integrated application.
